#14171 Bone (The Howl-o-ween Pups)

Adoption Pending
Medium-size, Male, Baby Mixed Breed,

Meet Bone from the Howl-o-Ween Pups!

Name: Bone
Age: 9 weeks
DOB: 8/12/24
Current Weight: 8 lbs
Estimated Adult Weight: 45 lbs

About Bone:
Bone may have a spooky name, but there's nothing scary about his sweet, playful personality! This little guy is full of life and loves to bounce around with his littermates. Bone is looking for a forever family to grow up with, someone who can help him become the best dog he can be.

Personality:
Bone is an energetic and curious pup who loves to explore and play. He's also a big fan of snuggling when playtime is over. If you're looking for a playful pup who will also be a great cuddle buddy, Bone might be the one for you!

I’m Searching For:
Someone who won’t leave me home alone for more than 4 hours, at least not until I’m older. The older I get, the longer I can stay home alone, but for now, I might get into trouble if left alone for too long.

A forever home where I can learn and grow. I’m still young and learning the basics, so teaching me commands like sit, stay, and come would help me become a well-behaved companion. Professional training sounds fun, too!

Most importantly, I hope my new family will love me forever, snuggle with me, and play with me every day!

Health:
Because I’m still a young puppy, I’ve only received 2 of the 3 required puppy distemper vaccines. This means my immune system won’t be fully developed until I’m about 16 weeks old. I need to stay out of public places like dog parks and pet stores until I’m fully vaccinated.

I am microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and monthly preventatives.

Bone is ready to start his journey with his new family—could that be you?

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
