Meet Timmy, a super handsome, sweet little guy with a lot of love to share.
Personality: This very affectionate pup loves all humans and every dog he has met. His foster mom says he is curious and calm with some endearing puppy traits that reveals itself in playtime.
Special Considerations: Timmy is super excited to meet friends on two or four legs and that excitement means he will sometimes jump on people or other dogs. It’s his puppy energy bursting out of his loveable little self and his foster mom knows it comes from a place of love.
Companionship: Timmy greets other dogs with a kiss on the nose before happily engaging in play. When it comes to humans, Timmy loves to make himself tiny enough to fit in any lap and settles quickly.
Training and Learning: Timmy is potty trained (in his current foster home) and prefers to pick out a private spot in the yard to do his business. He also knows “sit” and is pretty good with “paw.” Timmy has no complaints when it’s time to go into his crate. When he’s on a walk, sometimes he will pull on the leash a bit because there are so many exciting things to see and sniff but he is working on his leash manners and is improving.
Traits and Ideal Home: Timmy is a very good housemate. He is a quiet pup and would love a home where there is always a lap to snuggle in. He does like to play with toys but please be sure they are toys that can withstand some enthusiastic play since Timmy can defeat a wimpy plushie in no time.
Love and Affection: Timmy really loves to cuddle and will melt into anyone who gives him the chance to do so. He is a kissing machine.

Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
